Dada Poetry

I'm not a big fan of the Dada movement, but I do love the Dada poetry! The Dada movement was in to found art!! so what I am doing to day is "found poetry". what you want to do is get news papers, magazines, or old book ,and cut out words that you like. put them in a pile. then take a pinch of the words you cute out and lay them out. see what you get. then you can move them around the page to make it sound better if you want. they never really make any sense. but that's the fun of it!!!!

Old School

I love trying to get photo's to look old and bad looking!

I don't know way it's just so fun to do! I get a kick out of it!

But I'll have to get a new toy camera, the one I was working with broke.....It was only $3.

so no big loss.

ART GAME!!!!

so, what you will need is water colors and color pins.

with the water color, color the page with color....don't worry what it looks like just start putting color down!

Now let it dry...now look at it! what does it look like?

do you remember when we where little and we would look at the clouds and make things out of it " Oh that one looks like a bunny" The same thing we are doing here! but with brighter colors!

Now take some colored pin or whatever you have and draw what you think you see!!

have fun and play around with it!!

Christmas in the air......

How to make some fun Christmas ornaments that look like cookies!

you want to find some fun cookie cutters that you like.

You will need flour and salt, eye screws glue and paint. I had some left over sea salt....you don't did it you can just use normal salt. 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 1cup warm water.
put salt and flour together, slowly add the water. you will need to knead it for about 8min on a flat floured surface.

Roll it out about 1/4 to 3/8 -inch thick.

and start cutting

I just got some hooks and eyes from the hardware store.

put them in the top of each cut out.

now I would leave them out over night to dry......or you can put then in the oven at 200 (or less) for about 4 to 6 hours. let them cool.

after that, I like to take glue and paint and mix them together. put it in a squeeze bottle and make it look like frosting. (let dry!)

Then I took paint and made lines and designs

Winter Wonderland

I thought I would go take some photo's today......It was SO cold!!!

Let It snow, Let it snow Let it snow!

It's snowing like crazy!!!

I can't even see the house next to me! It's a whiteout and getting thicker!

I don't have school and I took work off this week for thanksgiving.

I'm going to drink something hot and sit and watch the snow fall!

Puzzle Pieces

I wanted to make my own puzzle ...so I got a cheep puzzle and painted over it!

I think this will make a good Christmas gift!
