I told my friend once if I was not the religion I was I would be catholic because I love their art and he told me..."You don't have to be catholic to like there art."
Oh....true.

My Chair

I found this chair for $15 and I made the seat for it.
It reminds me of something you would get at anthropologie.
All together it was less then $20.
sounds good to me!!

Art project 3

An easy and fun way to do printmaking for you and the kids!

1. What you will need:
Foam plate
Block printing ink
An ink roller
Scissors
A Dull pencil
Blank paper
and two flat surfaces

I got my ink and roller from Hobby Lobby. you can get it at most art stores.

2. Cut the bottom of your plate out

3. Using your pencil, draw......know that it will be flipped so, if you have words make sure that you write them backwards.

4. On your flat surfaces put a small amount of ink in a line.

5. Using your roller, roll on the ink

6. On the second surface put your drawing print down, face up, and roll the ink onto it.

7. I like to use a smooth paper. Put your plate face down on the paper.

8. You can use big books and stand on them but I use my small block printing press.

9. After pressing, lift your plate off the paper and.....

10. enjoy!!!
(good for cards!!)

Art Project 2

Making you own charcoal is very easy!

1. Make a safe fire. I have the tips of some of my sicks out so I can grab them and they would be hot....be careful!

2. let it burn for a good time. Then take out.
3. The ends are very hot so you might want to want to let them cool or they may burn a hole in the paper. Use thicker paper. 4. You can use it as a side wake chalk too. It will wash off.

5. I like to have more then one at hand.
6. Draw away!!
