(All photographer unknown)Mori is a style that started in Japan and was influenced by Scandinavian/ European style, there children's books and stories. Like brothers Grimm, Tasha Tudor and little red riding hood. Mori means forest in Japanese. Mori girl is Forest girl..... a forest girl like little red riding hood and so on. I love this style because of the influence that it came from! I like dressing in layers and in a Scandinavian feel....maybe because I'm Danish and German, that has been a big part of my life.... anyways, I made a dress that has a mori girl feeling to it with lots of lace and lite colors. I also have photo's of other mori girl style.

I love this style! I especially like the layered creamy lace and knitted garments. So soft and full of fantasy.
